Clara spent 10 years in the Microfinance sector including almost 8 years within an international leading group (Baobab). She had the opportunity to cover various key areas from finance to marketing, business development and operations, both at group and subsidiary level. This gave her a wide array of functional skills, combined with the opportunity to work in multicultural markets such as West, East, North Africa and Central Asia. As a project leader of multiple innovative projects, such as the launch of mobile branches, financial products for both employees and employers, digital-based savings products, digital acquisition strategy, Clara implemented several projects all along the value chain – from strategy, client & market survey, value proposition, business model, product & services design, to pilot phase and scale-up – with a strong results driven focus. Clara holds a Master degree in Finance from Dauphine University as well as a Master degree in Microfinance from European Microfinance Programme (Solvay Brussels Schools of Economics and Management). She is fluent in French and English.
