Connecting for Impact

Amarante at the FIW Nairobi Happy Hours 2025

Connecting for Impact

Amarante Consulting co-hosted the Financial Inclusion Week (FIW) Nairobi Happy Hours 2025, a networking and knowledge-sharing event designed to bring together practitioners and leaders advancing inclusive finance across Africa. Organised as part of the global FIW initiative, the Nairobi edition created an informal yet insightful platform  to reflect on the various discussions during FIW 2025 and exchange ideas on building stronger, more inclusive financial systems.

Amarante Partner, Sahana Arun Kumar, joined the panel discussion exploring how digital ecosystems can strengthen financial resilience and promote sustainable growth. The session delved into how collaboration between public and private actors can accelerate access to financial services especially for underserved populations.

Also in attendance was Antonia, Amarante’s Regional Manager for Francophone Africa, and some of our senior experts Yoann, Chris Czerwonka, Chris Statam and Charles Belanger who connected with regional peers and partners to discuss the future of digital inclusion and women’s financial empowerment in emerging markets.

The FIW Happy Hours demonstrated how informal spaces can foster meaningful connections and spark innovative approaches to inclusion. For Amarante, it was another opportunity to contribute to global dialogues on financial well-being and to reaffirm our commitment to reimagining finance for real impact.

A big shout out to our fellow co-host : CFI, CITI Foundation, Jumo and Busara.
