The XVII National Microfinance Summit organized by the National Program for Financing Micro-Entrepreneurs and Rural Women (PRONAFIM) took place on the 9th of October in Mexico.
As the largest event in Mexico targeting MFIs, its main purpose was to exchange experiences, trends and promote new projects that contribute to the growth of microfinance institutions. In particular, this year’s event was looking at “Transcending Microfinance”. Among the topics discussed during the event, Amarante’s Senior Advisor Central America and Caribbean, M.
