Sarim is based out of Islamabad and holds a double degree in Economics and International Relations from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. He joined Amarante as a Consultant Analyst in the Anglophone team. He is an important part of the project management, business development, and regional outreach team, building Amarante’s presence in Asia.
Sarim has 4 years of previous experience in labor advocacy, conducting research and monitoring reform on labor practices among garment exporters in Asia and North Africa as well as experience as an analyst in the textile and energy sector, where he reported on Pakistan’s industrial adherence to ESG standards.
