Waly Diouf Diédhiou is a seasoned expert in Financial Inclusion and Digital Financial Services,with over 15 years of experience across West and Central Africa. He has successfully led the design, deployment, and evaluation of Agency banking networks and digital financial services for institutions including the World Bank, FPM, and KfW.
Waly has played a pivotal role in numerous consulting missions, supporting microfinance institutions (MFIs), fintechs, and mobile money operators in driving inclusive finance. His expertise spans agent network strategy, digital project implementation, mobile payments, e-commerce, business development and data-driven decision-making. He has trained hundreds of professionals and conducted field studies involving clients, agents, and institutional stakeholders.
He is also a Certified Digital Finance Practitioner (CDFP), holding certifications in Mobile Money Operations, Digital Currencies, and Financial Inclusion from the Digital Frontiers Institute.He also holds a master's degree in marketing and communications from the Institut Supérieur de Management (ISM).
