Considering the potential of technological innovations, the Central Bank of Madagascar (“BFM”) has identified the development of Fintech as a priority to promote financial services in Madagascar. The field is vast and requires specific technical skills, so BFM has requested technical assistance from the World Bank to meet this challenge, particularly in the establishment of an appropriate legal and regulatory framework. In this context, The World Bank Group mandated Amarante Consulting to conduct a landscape study to:

WB CIV Economic report Feedback meeting in Abidjan was attended by Amarante. The meeting was a feedback session to present key macroeconomic data for Ivory Coast for the year 2021. In Burkina Faso, livestock is the third largest export sector after gold and cotton. In order to better understand the sector and its ecosystem, United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) commissioned Amarante consulting to carry out a “Mapping of the livestock sector in Burkina Faso to identify opportunities for the digitization of payments and non-financial services”.
